Taps2's specially priced veteran cremation program is a private expression of appreciation offered by Taps2 and its licensed funeral-service partners. It is not a Department of Veterans Affairs program, not funded by the federal government, and is not a military entitlement or Medicaid benefit.
Government veteran burial benefits — including VA burial allowances, military funeral honors, burial flags, and national cemetery eligibility — are separate programs administered by the appropriate government agencies. Taps2 can help families understand and access those benefits, but they are distinct from Taps2's private veteran pricing program.

Submit Proof of Service
Complete a brief intake and provide documentation establishing qualifying military service. A DD-214 is one accepted form — other documentation may also qualify.
Eligibility Review
Taps2 reviews your submitted information. A staff member will contact you to discuss eligibility and next steps. Pricing information is shared directly with qualifying families by a licensed funeral professional.

Who Qualifies for Taps2 Veteran Pricing
Taps2's private veteran program is available to qualifying veterans who can provide acceptable documentation of military service. Families arranging services for a qualifying veteran may also begin the process. Eligibility is confirmed after documentation review — there is no cost to apply. Taps2 determines program eligibility independently; eligibility decisions require human review.
Program eligibility is limited to honorably discharged veterans and is confirmed through acceptable military-service documentation.

Taps2 currently serves families in New York (through Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service) and Pennsylvania (through Savage Funeral Service). The Veteran Benefits Center is available as an educational resource to veteran families regardless of location.

All funeral services are performed by licensed funeral establishments — Savage Funeral Service (PA) and Savage-DeMarco Funeral Service (NY).
