Taps2 was created to address a straightforward problem: the cost of cremation can be a significant burden for veteran families, and navigating the landscape of available veteran benefits — government and private — can be confusing and overwhelming at a difficult time.
Taps2's private veteran program offers specially priced cremation to qualifying veterans as an expression of appreciation for their military service. It is not a government program, not funded by any government agency, and not a military entitlement. It is a private commitment.
Alongside that private pricing program, Taps2 provides families with knowledgeable guidance on the government veteran benefits they may have earned — military funeral honors, burial flags, VA burial allowances, national cemetery eligibility, and more. These government benefits are separate from Taps2's private program, but Taps2's licensed funeral professionals are experienced in helping families access every benefit available to them.

Transparency
Taps2 is clear about what its private program is — and what it is not. Program pricing is provided only to confirmed eligible families. Provider identity is disclosed at the time of arrangement. There are no hidden fees.

Professional Standards
